Racers on TrainingPeaks Virtual: Two big weekends to mark in your calendars

Osalemiseks on vajalik: pulsiandur, vändapöörete andur ja võimsusanduriga, arvutist-tahvlist juhitav velotrenažöör (Smart trainer ANT+ FE-C, Bluetooth või Direct Connect ühendusega), näiteks Wahoo Kickr, Elite Drivo, Justo, Direto, Tacx Neo, Flux jne. Ja muidugi TrainingPeaks Premium tellimus.

Weekend of January 17-18, 2026: 5 possible titles up for grabs at the continental level
e.g : The German, Italian, English, Spanish, Danish racers, etc will race against each other in 1 time slot
Brazilian, Canadian, US racers, etc will race each other on a 2nd time slot

Program:

Saturday 17th January Continental titles
[Morning] Individual time trial (approx. 25km)
[Evening] Hill climb: ascent of a difficult mountain (e.g., Alpe d'Huez)
[Evening] Track races: very close to the official omnium. All on the VLOdrome
1) Scratch race (10km (men) / 7.5km (women)
2) Keirin (different from IRL, for variety): 3 laps behind a pacer who accelerates (30->50kph), and 1 “free” lap
3) Elimination race: 1 rider eliminated each lap
4) Tempo race (points race)

Sunday 18th January
[Morning] Team time trial (approx. 25km)
[Evening] Road race (quite tough, 1h30)



Weekend of January 24-25, 2026: 5 titles up for grabs at the World level
Same program as for the “Continental” races, with the following changes:
Road race (very tough, 2h+)
Individual time trial (approx. 50km)
Team time trial (approx. 50km)
Track races: same as the Continental
Hill climb: ascent of a legendary mountain (e.g. Stelvio)
