I would like to invite you to the adventure racing event called Vilnius Challenge, which will take place next year on June 5 (Saturday). The event details are posted below. Urban adventure race Vilnius Challenge 2010 will take place in the city of Vilnius on the 5th June, 2010.
The event is open to everybody: whether somebody is a regular athlete or just a beginner wishing to challenge oneself. Based on one’s age and level of skills there are three different race categories to choose from: “Elite”, “Amateur” and “Micro”, which will last up to 9, 4 and 1 hours accordingly. The main course disciplines will include but won’t be limited to: cycling, kayaking, orienteering, wall climbing and traversing. In addition, the racers should expect additional tasks, great views of Vilnius city from well known and secluded city locations. All finishers will receive certificate of participant, while racers on the podium will be awarded valuable material and cash prizes awarded by our sponsors.
Also, we highly encourage those who do not have time or are unwilling to compete still show up and enjoy the event. Almost entire Saturday, starting from 9 am till 6 pm spectators will be able to watch the racers on the lawn in front of “White” pedestrian bridge. There will also be a possibility to sign up for and compete in the “Micro” course right at the event center.
The number of allowed racers in the “Elite” and “Emateur” groups is limited, so do not hesitate too long pass the first registration date: February 16, 2010.
